The Type 6 Shuttlecraft is a shortened and updated version of the older Type 5, and is the most common shuttlecraft to be found in Starfleet service.
Dyson Bases's Type 6 Shuttles are named after early Earth space explorers. Freeman Islands are Armstrong and Aldrin; Outpost 2, 3 and 4's are Gagarin, Ride and Cernan, respectively.
