 Duck Blind Three is situated about 100,000 kilometres south-east of Outpost 3. It overlooks a village of the Vanara, a primitive humanoid race.
  The Vanara are an average-sized humanoid race resembling apes, with wiry dark brown or black hair covering most of their bodies. The face is hairless and is a pinksh brown colour. They have pre-industrial technology including gunpowder weaponry, and a mixed hunter/agricultural lifestyle. They frequently ride animals very similar to horses.

 The Vanara village is a low collection of rounded stone buildings and wooden catwalks blending into the surrounding terrain. It is set in a cleared are beneath a rocky outcropping.
 Near the Vanara village is a stretch of dry plain with a sandy, stony surface. On parts of this plain the Vanara have etched into the terrain bird-like figures. Duck Blind Three is concealed in the outcropping overlooking the village. Sensors are emplaced throughout the village and surrounding areas. |
